This forum is for broad discussions of collecting. Threads relating to a specific set, person or team should be created on that set, person, or team's page.
Commish, whether you know it or not, but there are quite a few members that find you annoying. lol. I know one that I couldn't repeat his words. Anyway,
Joshua, my own site [which I have] will not resolve the issue on TCDB. What u thinkin' bro !
I'm just saying that it seems that you wouldn't have these issues with cards or stuff being listed on your site and then you can use TCDB for whatever else you need it for.
Me too, I annoy me and a lot of others. , including my wifey.
I understand, but these cards affect many more collectors than me, actually doesn't even affect me that much. I just replied to the post as a way of addressing those rules that need clarification. And to boot, I've been told to do whatever I want.....funny thing, I really don't have anything to do!
WOW! I miss one day on here b/c I was extremely busy Sunday and this thread explodes!!! I can't even wrap my head around all the stuff I SHOULD reply to, so I just won't. I basically said my piece Saturday night.

Largest collections by Team, then Athlete: STL Cardinals (MLB) - 6100+ cards ; Carolina Panthers (NFL) - 2200+ cards
Jimmie Johnson (NASCAR) - 1450+ cards ; Mark Martin (NASCAR) - 800+ cards ;
Ozzie Smith (MLB) - 650+ cards ; Jeff Gordon (NASCAR) - 450+ cards
Yeah spaz, crazy stuff unfolding. And I reread your post.....All we need to do is explain how to handle these types of cards in black & white, seems simple enough [like the Flow Chart idea], if someone will propose it and do it. It may cause more of a rumble, but at least it's in writing. As I said it really doesn't affect me, but I still ended up in the WOW.
Since these are TCDB business cards in other words Admin's cards, your barbs are aimed directly at him. Since the beginning, Admin has approved and been involved in the production of these sets. I for one, and I'm sure others agree, think these business cards are more fun than the original:

Only slightly related, and no one asked, but I feel this is worth pointing out at least as something the community should be aware of and I mean no disrespect by saying:
As a relatively recent user, the fact that custom sets of site members can be listed on here seems somewhat sophmoric and undignified as a site and detracts from the site's credibility as a source for information. It sounds like some clear guidelines still need to be hammered out one way or the other because if that's the current line in the sand that ain't it

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.
