Yea the yellow parallel is what I think I saw that really even made me ask. Sounds like they aren't a good deal overall tho? I never see the repacks at my dollar store but I've also thought of maybe looking for those "Fairfield" boxes or whatever they are called at I think target? I think you get a bunch of junk wax and then a pack or two? Are those any good or always junk? I think the Walmart clearance sounds about right but I just don't know any of the newer players but I guess I would learn! I would love to look through a 10 cent box at a flea market or something. Older cards are more my style  just because I know more about them really.

I wish my Dollar Tree would sell cards again.  Just have stickers at mine, but I guess they made up for it buy having occasional blu ray movie sales that I overspend on.

I LOVE those Fairfield re-packs at Target. Almost always worth the money. The ones with actual packs are usually just retail packs of somewhat recent cards, so not much help for you except for traders. But the ones with individual cards in them range from the 1980's to the present and they aren't just base cards. You can find inserts and parallels in them, as well as food-issue and similar cards. For $5 to $10, I find them a great way to add to my traders while sometimes pulling some cards I needed for my PC. The last one I bought of baseball cards was about 40% each of 1980's and 2010's and 20% were from the 1990's/2000's. Over the years, I've pulled a few RC's that were worth the cost of the purchase. I never expect anything big from them, but it does happen sometimes. I don't mean big like a $50 card, but I have pulled single $5-10 cards from them. I'd buy those over dollar store packs any time. Give it a try with a box or 2 and let us know what you think.

The Yellow parallells in 2019 Topps moved to Walgreens this year (which my local Walgreens just started carrying for Update set). I have bought a few newer packs at Dollar Tree and usualy get 3or4 commons. I always tell myself to keep the 5bux and just buy a fat pack at Target, but I can't help myself. 

I probably try 1 of each for fun. Just wish the dollar tree pack was baseball or basketball. I feel like football is automatically worth less across the board because less people collect them. For a dollar tho I'll check a pack out next time I'm in there. The Fairfield box is what I really want to try. I had so much fun sorting through my 20+ year old collection and looking for errors and rookies I missed as a kid and I think a FF box would give me a short burst of the same feeling. I really wonder who sorts those and if they actually pull out errors and rookies and what not or if they just grab the obvious superstars out. Could you imagine pulling a no name frank or f face billy from one of those? A Marlboro randy or reverse Juan. Would be awesome lol. If not and I get all doody oh well it was probably worth $5 just to see

The Dollar Trees I have seen have 2 types of packs (I only really look at baseball):

Topps are like 3 or 4 cards for a buck.  Is it worth it?  meh

30 or so in a repack.  Not too bad for building up commons.. but I have seen to many with one of the corners dinged up all the way through the pack.  Not sure that's worth it either.
