To Any and All interested members,
By now we all know that I have a massive collection. I've been collecting for years now. These cards are what excelerated my passion for collecting again.
I understand that many collectors find these cards to be "nuisances and down right annoying". Whatever your take, you have to admit they are here and here to stay. Our posts have an ERR/VAR question daily, more collectors are intrigued by them, and we know the card manufacturers have taken note.
I get it ! .....Members don't want to hear about color variations, errant lines, blurps, blobs and so on. But they're here, and some are extremely interesting. They actually give a new found interest to, I need say, "junk wax".. And BTW, somehow, some have slipped thru the TCDB cracks. lol. ex 1989 Stan Jeffereson.
I have taken quite a beating in replies to older posts of mine, please don't, THIS POST is just informative, not trying to push anything on anyone. Dan and I have had many interesting discussions on some of them. Stay calm. Many Members that support and collect ERR/VARs have remained silent, not wanting to get batted around like me.Understandle. lol.
Many years ago, when My interest spiked, I started communicating with a fellow/friend who was new to ERR/VAR collecting, and wanted to soak up as much information as I had to offer. My research then went far and wide. I found a source that was OP, but I was able to secure an old copy, It CR @ 1994. Well recently 1 of our members surprisingly found a link to the same source and messaged me the link, THANK YOU !. Eagerly, I had to take a look and to my surprise my old friend had gotten permission from the author to "bring it alive" again online. Well I naturally subscibed and have been in contact with my old friend. He emailed me, Glad to reunite and thank me for all the help I offered him back then. I offered to stay active on the blog and willing to link it to the TCDB. He thanked me. So, I have the link, but will not impose on our members if they wish not. PLEASE, if this resurrected source interests you, PLEASE REPLY.
Respectfully, ~BOB~
