Does anyone know when walmart or target or others usually put cards on clearance in stores or online?   What is the best time to check?  I seem to always miss it and I'm too late and just see sticker cards.  Thanks for the advice.  

I've never seen trading cards on clearance at Target or Walmart.

Don't forget, those stores don't own any inventory of trading card product.  That shelf space is rented by a local vendor who comes in and puts their own inventory out for sale.  I'm prety sure they have other outlets for items they might need to 'clearance'.

I've seen items on clearance at both stores. From what I've seen, it's usually product that is at least a year old tha thas been supplanted by newer product.

Like Jimetal7212 says I see them a lot at my local Walmart. The older cards he mentions are also in a vending box labeled as clearance if I remember correctly. The clearance items are mostly base offerings but I've grabbed some Heritage or A&G from there that I don't buy a lot of at reg retail prices.
