Im sure im in the minority with my thoughts on this type of card. I feel a card should be shown in a catalog as it was produced and distributed by the manufactuer. No this does not mean the pack of cards cannot be opened. Cards issued in a sealed case or with a tamper proof tape seal should show that case. A card graded by a 3rd party would not fall into this category unless the card manufacturer contracted with them to create it pre distrubution.
To comply with the current TCDB guidelines crop to the edge of the card as has been mentioned.
