Upper Deck uses the Ultra name on hockey. (i just had to bring that up...) Seems Panini produces tribute sets of everything not owned by UD and Topps. I'm waiting for a modern Action Packed set. That could be cool. I like Action Packed.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

It could happen. Panini bought up the Pinnacle trademarks and Pinnacle bought out Action Packed. I hope it happens in particular for NASCAR, which Panini got the license for in February. 1994 Action Packed is my favorite NASCAR set.

I think that was the only pack of Nascar cards I have ever bought. That's how much I liked Action Packed!
