A big thanks to Robert a.k.a. bkim for the 2-in-1 PIF. He recognized not only my birthday but also Remembrance Day for us here in Canada. Thanks much Robert!

I want to thank Alan, alhill37, for being so kind to send a PIF to me of four very awesome Red Wings cards I didn't have. We are now working on our first trade together.

Big shout out and thanks to bkim. A Veterans Day card, word of thanks, a 1971 Topps for my set, and this humdinger of a card:

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

So PIFs usually take on a form of a person sending another a card or two as a surprise gift. Well my PIF is of a different sort (hope I am not jumping the gun here but I highly doubt it). I got a message from PayPal today returning $25 USD to my account because a certain "helper" either did not accept the tender or never finished creating their account. I emailed said helper and he has said the money was not of the most importance. So this "helper" went out of their way to bid on the card, recieve the card and ship the card to me in Canada and now is enjoying the fact that not only I am beaming but he is too. So tahnk you "helper" for all that you did, you went well out of your way to help this middle aged man with his PC. Oh did I not mention his name ............ just scroll back a page and you might notice his post, right JG?!? :P
Thanks my friend my PM is a standing offer and not just a nice reply. =D

Have you members that I knew was in the service and I had a card you needed got a Veterans Day card with it inside. Did you notice that I used a USPS stamp from the Vietnam Medal of Honor series, for the branch they were in?. Thanks to Chuck (c2cigars) for the heads up about the stamp.
Also I want to !st thank and wish a Happy Birthday to all the Marines today (Nov 10th) the number of times I went into historic Philly to show the former location of Tuns Tavern to a Marine visiting. and 2nd wish a Happy Veterans Day to all the other members that served.

Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards

Huge thank you to Frump (Robert) for his PIF. He took the initiative to send me all (1/2 set) the cards (including the stars) I needed to complete my McDonald's set. Robert rocks and he's another reason why I like so much our community here.
