 This question may also pertain to the base set.    Team names seem to be arbitrary.  On back of card, there is usually a logo of both the Minor League team and its parent Major League club.   Most player fronts (if not all) have them in their minor league uniform.     Team names on the data base seem to arbitrarily vary between major and minor.   See if you agree with my assessment and then comment on what should be done.   Thanks.   Again I think this may apply to the base set as well.

It would seem to me that they are listed with the minor league team they are playing for. The only ID relevant to the parent club on those cards is a logo on the front, if I remember correctly. But I would be curious to hear other opinions/explanations.

Seems to me it would be logical to list them as the minor league team, and ensure the parent team is in the affiliate section, therefore they would be searchable by both.

I did the set the way I think it should be - as rmpaq5 suggests as well. Minor league team name in the team and the major league affiliate in the affiliate. Whoever put in the MLB teams probably didn't know the MiLB teams or misunderstood how to do this properly.
