Carry-over from 2017
-Finish Topps Red Sox team sets 1977-2017. I need just one card, 1979 Topps #680 Carlton Fisk AS, for a grand total of 1,740.
-Complete the 2017 Topps Update set. 12 to finish.
2018
-Have 50 different cards of retired players. Once I reach 50, they get their own section in the retired players box.
-Work on Red Sox Allen & Ginter team sets.
-Complete the 2018 Topps set.
-Sell off/trade my remaining hockey cards.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want. |

I'd like to hit 2,000 Messier items. I am at 1,750 right now, so not sure I will be able to make it, but sure doesn't hurt to set the goal high.

in 2018 I am setting three goals for my collection.
1) Pick up 1,646 Different Red Sox cards to put my collection at 46,000. ( I expect to hit this one)
2) Thin out the non PC cards I have accumulated over the years (lilkey won't happen but will try my best!)
3) Do more scanning and organizing of my PC.Despite my best efforts, I know I still have Red Sox card, magazines, yearbooks etc that I don't have inventoried.

What if Admin added 2 columns on our profile page for goals. One column listing our top 5 goals, the other with a checkbox so the member can check off completed.
In some cases I think it can help a member complete a set(s) without others having to go through a whole wantlist.

Cool idea Billy. Good luck with it. I'll look over your lists and see if I can contribute, as I'm always looking to remove some duplicates from my collection.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

This year I'm focusing on Stadium Club Braves team sets, '91-'08. I'm also looking for parallels and inserts but the goal is to finish the base sets. Any and all help is appreciated!!

my goal is to add as many biggio cards as I can to my collection
Also to complete Cincinnati Reds and Bengals team sets and add items I don't have.
I also plan on adding as many serial numbered cards as I can.

You are confusing to me! How is your name about Biggio, but the rest of you is about Cincy teams? 
Anyway, I have a bunch of Biggio cards FT (including RC's). I also have tons of Reds and Bengals cards. Check out my traders and send a trade proposal. There are currently several traders in front of you though. I'm getting back to trading VERY soon, so make sure you get on the list b/c the longer you wait, the more traders that can jump ahead of you.
