I would suggest that everyone watch out for eBay seller edandrobscards2011.
Here's the scoop. Back in August I won a couple of Messier cards in their auctions, but never received them. I was given the "lost in the mail excuse" but always suspected they were just unhappy with the final bid results (I got them as the only bidder at the inital listing price). Suspecting what I did, I have been keeping an eye on his listings ever since and lo and behold today the card shows up. How can I be so sure it is the same card? Because it is a serial numbered.
The seller did refund my money, but that is not the point here. I wanted the card and I guess I kind of expect folks to be honest.
Anyway, take it for what it is worth.

Just as buyers should bid the "maximum" amount they are willing to pay for a card, Sellers should list a card for the bare minimum they are willing to let the card go for.

i agree on the seller part. maybe not so much the buying part,, because if im bidding on a card, lets say its worth $50 and i can get it for $10, i'm not going to throw a 40-50 bid on it unless its down to the last few seconds. on the flip side, if im selling that card and def want something close to 50, then yes, list for something like that with the bids.
I've dealt with people who expect $50+ for a card and the bids never getting over 15, only to have to them cancel or withdraw it-- unless they have thier alternate account do some auto bidding for them to get the price up. Ebay has been doing a better job of cleaning up the rotten apples out there though, ill give them that.

Actually, as much as a buyer is "under contract" to buy an item at the amount they have bid up to, a seller is "under contract" to sell an item at the price an auction ends at (unless it has a reserve). The seller actually breeched contract. Report to ebay ASAP.

I just shared vrooomed's exact thought with a Facebook friend earlier today. Once you bid, both sides have entered into a valid contract. Not that there's a ton it's worth doing to enforce the contract, buy you sure can raise holy hell.
If it's in keeping with the season....

There seems to be a lot of bad card sellers on ebay. My dad bought a lot of 5,000 cards for me for my birthday at a bargain deal, can’t remember exactly how much. Never got the cards, contacted the seller many times, and no reply. In the end, we had to get ebay to intervene and force them to refund my dad’s money. My tip is to be sure that the seller has several good reviews and can be trusted before buying.

I just navigated eBay's phone tree hell and was able to get to a person in their fraud department. A case has officially been opened.
One thing I failed to mention in my original post is that if you look at their negative feedback, it all relates to lost or non-shipment of items, so this sure seems to be a pattern of abuse.
