The buybacks are one of the most difficult to deal with.
If there is a way to have a good base of a checklist first, let's go with that.
Actually, I started on the 2016 Archives Signature Edition. I had almost full info on the player we collect (Darren Daulton), and then found that there are other sites who have a "starter" checklist (they didn't have everything I had). Admin allowed me to "try" the method I used, and then asked if it was good for how we're trying to move forward with the site - the answer was Yes. I just got sidetracked by about a thousand other things, and never got back to the 2016s. Therefore, it looks like the best practice would be to have a set for each player in the series, and then list all the cards, in number order, and put the actual release ("1993 Topps", "1990 Bowman") in Note2, with AU and the SN info in the Note field.
