Thanks to the innovations our fearless leader (Admin) has been implementing over the past several months, the inaccuracy reporting area has gone from being Admin-only less than a year ago, to giving all levels the ability to help, and the ability of Level 8 members do set things up for Admin to move through with much speed. (Many hands make light work.)
This now means that the reports are even more crucial to helping expedite the process. There are some things I have noticed recently that was (and really still is) perfectly acceptable, but if done differently now could make a world of difference. Read on...
Level 8 members now have the ability to set up approvals (for easier Admin action) to move images, delete images, delete individual cards, and delete duplicate checklists (or checklists of non-existent sets). Reports for actions that need to take place on a card (image moving, image removal, or card deletion) need to be reported using the link for that specific card. If you report an issue for card #36 but do it at the set checklist level, the tools needed for the individual card are not available. Another example is when a set has 30 cards, and 25 of them have scans that are cut off. I understand the tedium in reporting 25 issues, but by doing so, the Level 8 members who review the error reports can review and approve the removals, and then Admin sees that 2 or 3 Level 8 members approve, and it becomes a very easy task for Admin. The report that says "most images are bad" means that it has to be passed on to Admin with no review process, Admin then has to look at each scan, and determine if the scan deems worthy of staying or if it should be removed. What could've been a 1 minute task (at most) becomes a 30 minute task. Please, the more work we can take off of Admin, the better this site becomes (gives Admin more time for improvements, rather than fixing inaccuracies).
Thanks for reading, and thanks for taking the time to make the database even more accurate than it already is. Every report I read, I see someone who cares about making this site better. And for that, I truly am grateful for all the research the members here do before submitting these reports. As always, keep up the good work. Thank you!

I saw the "most images" report. And all the front images are incomplete/crooked/bad, not just most. I'm sure Admin could remove them all quickly. If there was an option to add a note to an IR and then forward it to Admin (Admin Needed), that be a time-saver.
I've seen many reports that are vague, confusing, etc. And once I figure out what they mean, it's an "Admin Needed" IR. But there's no way to add a note of clarification for Admin.

I had given Admin that feedback back in August (shortly after IR implementation), but it may not be possible (or feasible).
I can only imagine all the time Admin has to spend on these. I know we have a group heere who does as much as they can to help out with these (it seems to be about a dozen or so members).

I'm guessing that the "most images" report might have been mine. I've seen multiple minor league sets whch have amazingly horrible cropping (usually by the same uploader) with most of the border cut off. I wish I had the cards to scan myself....

And like I said, there's really nothing "wrong" with reporting it that way. But if it's not most and it's really ALL, let's report it as such. If ALL images in a set really are bad enough that they would be removed, that we can pass right to Admin. If it's a situation where it is a MOST, then let's report each one individually, and we can get it "packaged" up to Admin and it's a matter of seconds for him. It's just better to report them individually. Thanks. Keep finding those cut off images and reporting them. It reflects poorly on the site when those are representations of our work.

I sent in a bunch of corrections with links to where the cards needed to be moved to, more than two hours worth of work that required me to have 4 windows open, just a day or two before the new system was implemented. The corrections were NOT made but somebody, I have no idea who, must have marked them as bring fixed because they no longer appear in the inaccuracies report. I really don't appreciate having to do the work again because somebody decided to mark it as solved when it wasn't.
So far, I have not bothered. I have the scans waiting to go for when it gets fixed, that will complete 3 of the four sets' galleries.
I'm hoping Admin can find the corrections I sent in that somebody marked fixed when they were not and fix them. Since they were sent before the current system was implemented, telling me to redo it is not an acceptable response, as I did it the correct way at the time, not knowing a better way was imminent.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. Hey Billy-
Did you actually see those reports on the list and then they later went away? I ask because, a while ago I was having trouble where IRs that I submitted from an individual card page were not getting created when I hit the submit button. I would see the thank you page, but the report number was null and the report wasn't actually created.

Hey, that happened to me too not too long ago. Figured it was just a one-time glitch.

Also I would like to add, and sorry to put this out there on vroomed excellent suggestions post, if you put in a "Possible Missing Set" type of report, please include a link if possible in the IR description so verification of the set you are requesting can be found immediately and then updated if not found on the site (with a checklist if your link also brings us to a page where we can put one together).
