I've made roughly 500 baseball cards of former major leaguers that have never had baseball cards printed before and they're AWESOME. I'm looking to see if there's any interest in getting these cards added to the database because once seen you'll see they're amazing. The backs, fronts, the detail even the card stock all perfected to a tee. I personally get them autographed and the players flip when they see 'em always asking for extras. Plus I'm able to make more (unsigned) for anyone interested while my main concern....getting these cards added to the database along with scans.
I call these cards "Shoe Box Heroes" and have them listed (in alpha order) on my website called Autographed Baseball Cards Unlimited (www.abcunlimited.net). Scroll to the bottom of the page and there you'll see the Shoe Box Heroes search where you can see all the names and teams of these former major leaguers. They're primarily 60's and 70's players while it does cover 1954 thru the 90's. Sure would be nice to have a set called something like....custom made cards....to the database so when you're looking for say Wayne Tyrone (76 Cubs) or Ron Allen (Hank's brother, 72 Cardinals) or a bunch of other obscure players they'd be easy to find...finally.

I don't want to sound harsh but are you on this site to enter a collection and buy/sell/trade cards that most collectors generally recognize and collect or did you just create a user account to advertise a type of card you make? I notice you created your account a week or so ago but have nothing in your collection. I'm relatively new here so if you are posting here as a way of advertising I'm not sure if that is allowed? I'm sure others will have some input.

must be missing something, but do not see any pictures and in reference your request to add to the site I would say no. But I am not the admin.

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

Short answer, "no" to custom-made cards.
It seems you no more than admit the cards are copyright infringements. "The backs, fronts, the detail even the card stock all perfected to a tee." IMHO, it sounds like you want to add these custom-made cards to the database to legitamize your product. And use our database as a platform to promote and advertise your product. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I guess I would think there is some sort of review done to determine what belongs and what doesn't here on this database and it's probably in the hands of the administrator. It just feels a little wrong to me that the request is coming from a person tied to the company making these cards that doesn't have a single card in his collection on this site.

The dude created the account for the sole reason of selling his custom cards. I don't have a problem with him being a member but the custom cards definitly do not belong in the database.

Custom cards have been a drop down option to choose from since around 2013 or 2014, so Admin clearly does not have a problem with them. A message sent to Admin directly would answer any questions, too.
Eventually I will be producing some of my own, but I don't have the skills for that yet. I don't know if I will list them here or not- they would be very short run issues, probably 9, with only 7 being available- with one for my collection, one to keep as a spare. But I'm not sure how they are any different from the hundreds of unlicensed cards issued in the early 1990s by Broder and others, that we do list here...the only real difference is the time of publication and the fact that we know who the producer is.
I do count custom cards as part of my collection- I even have one autographed by Wade Boggs.
I would say the dividing line should fall this way: If they are one-off customs printed for a single person, that you can't collect unless you are the producer- then NO, they should not be listed. If they are available to purchase and anyone can collect them, then YES, they should be listed.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. My only issue is time of publication and the fact that we know who the producer is. I have a few cards that I have no ideal what year or where they belong in my collection. Then the cost of them as I have seen them list on E-bay as 1/1s.
