So I have several sets in the DB that I have duplicates of. On some sets I have an entire duplicate set that I will list For Sale/Trade and then another partial set that I also have listed For Sale/Trade. Or I may have two full sets For Sale/Trade, one that is NM/M and another full set that is G/VG. Is there a way in the DB to group all of those cards together as separate sets so that I could, for example, list one set with an external sale link and the other just have available For Sale/Trade on this site?
Any other ideas on how to accomplish this? Thanks.

Unless Admin has made a recent change, the workaround I use is list it as Unopened Material. Put "hand-collated" in Comment.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

@C2Cigars, Thanks for the tip. I can see where that might be useful, however I was hoping for a way that would allow me to group cards together so that I could make changes to them en masse. For example, when I end up selling one of the two sets I have for sale externally, how do I remove those cards from my for sale list without going card by card? If I could group them then I could just delete the group and that would be it.
Another reason would be so that I could update the attributes of on all cards in the group at once. For example, if I list one of the sets on eBay and it doesn't sell and then I relist it, I dont get the same external link. So I would have to go back to each one of those cards and update the external link individually if there is no way to group them.
If that functionality already exists on the site then I've missed it.

Another thought. It would be nice if the site had an option to "Add 1 of each consecutive duplicate card to a group". So for example, If I had three or four partial sets I could just click a single button and it would scroll through my list and add one of each duplicate to a new group that could then be managed as a set.

A couple options for you to consider.
Instead of adding add cards to your collection (or to your FS/FT list), add just the "set" (note condition, etc., as Chuck showed) in the unopened material section of the collection. Then, when the set is sold or traded, one item comes off the list.
Alternatively, if the need to track card for card is there for you, you can set up multiple collections. So you could have a collection for just your G/VG cards from a certain set as one collection. Your NM/MT cards from another set can be another collection. You can set them up however you want, and I know I have 12 collections in addition to "Main Collection" (the default one), so the number can be quite large. Additionally, I have as few as 5 cards in one collection, and over 87,000 in another. This also allows you to have multiple copies of the same card across collections. So your VG copy counts in addition to your NM copy if they are in different collections (if you're keeping a count).
Just a couple methods I could think of that might help you out.

@vrooomed, You just confirmed the path I was already starting down with creating multiple collections. It isn't the most elegant solution in my opinion but it certainly accomplishes the main objective. A few questions though:
- How do I move cards between my collections?
- Just to be clear from your comments, does my main collection card count reflect the total of all cards across all of my collections?
- Does anyone know if there is a limit to the number of collections I can have?

1 - when in the collection pages, there are options to move all cards in a set to another collection with your collection names in the list.
2 - Main is it's own collection. "All Collections" sums up everything.
3 - I don't think Admin ever noted a limit, but I would guess 255 (if it's more than 255, it would be up in the millions, knowing how databases work). Do you think you'd exceed 255?

Nah, I don’t think I’d exceed 255. Thanks a lot for the info!
