I know that this is a card site... I would like it and wondering if others would also, if starting line-up figures were also included on this site.

Nope.
However, it would be great if someone started a "Starting Lineup Database" (SLDB).

It would be cool to have not just a Starting Line Up database but a sports figures database which would also include McFarlanes , Hartland Statues , Import Dragon and others .

Agreed, I would love to come across a Sports Figure database one of these days. My searches have proved futile.

Lol I mean that'd work also.. But I'd like to be able to have them accessible in the same database.. But I'd settle for them separately if need be

The only place that I have found that has decent information about the starting lineup figures is
http://startinglineupfigures.com/
Not nearly as organized as here, but has good info.

it does appear to be informative.. not really looking for information tho.. but rather being able to add them to an online "collection"

This has been discussed many times before and basically was decided it was a cards only, or card related (things that came inside a card pack). No mags, figures, auto balls, etc.... Some people didn't like the card price guides being in here. I have to vote to leave it as is.

I've been saying for a long time that there needs to be a database like this one for action figures and diecast cars. There's a site for action figures but it's search format is so horrible that it's basically useless. (You need to know the exact wave the figure came in, you can't click on a subject and seatch through the listings like you can here)
If I knew how I would create it myself.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.
