This post specifically applies to hockey of which I am familiar, but I'm sure it probably also applies to other sports/genres as well. If you are thinking of adding a missing (early 1900's) vintage set, please search the set name or catalog number if you do not see it under the year that you expect. It likely does exist but under a different year. This is because of new information that has come to light resulting in the revision of the dates of issue for some sets. Now these dates may be contrary to older guides, grading services, Beckett, etc., but should be used if we want the TTCD to be the most accurate and credible resource.
