The other thread took a turn away from the original topic so I thought ibest to start "fresh".
First off, thanks to everyone involved, we have gotten the inaccuracy reports down to a very small number, and there are only 5 left from more than 2 weeks ago (3 of them my Epix reports and then 2 others that require Admin). The rest are all from August 6th or newer. This is absolutely amazing.
I've been reading through many (not all, we have a strong team who works on these and I know several get fixed before I see them) and of th ones I've been seeing, the wording and instructions on what needs to happen have gotten much clearer. A huge thank you to those submitting the request as they have been much easier to work on. (Also, thanks to Admin for putting in the mechanism to contact those requesting new sets, so we can ascertain whether they have checklists or not, and assist them the best way possible. This addition has help immensely.)
A few reminders:
- Please stick to facts - A card either exists or it doesn't. If you don't believe the card exists, we're probably going to leave it in the database. I realize it's easier to prove a card exists over proving the lack of existence, but don't believe it - know it.
- Please leave out insults to the database (or those who work on it). I just worked on a request that included the phrase after indicating that we had 2 players in one PID "Very sloppy". Sorry that out of 9.8 MILLION cards, there were 4 in the wrong spot. Yes, 4. But that was apparently very sloppy. (Note: I don't know which member submitted that, and I really don't need - or want - to know. But if you are the one who submitted that, please understand that we are not Beckett - we do not get PAID to kep up the database - and yet we have fewer errors than they do - and we fix ours in a timely manner. I submitted error reports to them 5 years ago that haven't been fixed yet.)
- Please continue to submit the problems you cannot fix (or don't feel comfortable fixing).
- Please continue to report bad scans. I see them coming off and the replacements going up. Good replacements that meet the current standards.
All in all, things are probably better than they've even been on here. The reports are still coming in strong. But we have enough people to clear them out almost as fast as they come in. Let's keep this going strong. Thanks to all for any part you play in this.

Huge kudos to the inaccuracies team! I get a next day response or better 99% of the time. I've been trying to load new sets and checklists on my own to reduce the load, but I still need help from time to time to fix things I can't or don't know how to. Thanks again for all your help. It is much appreciated.

An amazing thing - right now, at 11:35 PM EDT on 8/13/18, we are sitting at only 21 items in the pending IR list!
Great job everyone!
And just for the record - Resolved is at 18,696 (in just over a year).

Props to everyone on the inaccuracies fixes and other contributions to the site. While I can't say one way or the other about Beckett, it's not unusual for large databases to intentionally include some incorrect information to help them detect others copying their work product without compensation, so it's possible that you identified some of that trigger data they have no intention of revising.

silly question, something i never realized before, but where/how do you continue a thread within the Inaccuracy report on a specific card? i realized that i had goofed on one.. guess that was my .002% mishap margin i entered

While I can understand the idea behind throwing in false information to detect copiers, doesn't it also hurt the credibility of all the other information?
