There aren't any fees to pay for access. Payments are processed through PayPal to protect our information. I have met several people who refuse to even process payments through PayPal because they assume PayPal charges a fee for it. You know what happens when you assume things, right?

No one encouraged him to leave the site. He threatened to leave if no one sent him an email. We are all free willed people in here and are free to come and go from this site as we see fit. If someone stays on this site great! If someone leaves and finds some other place to spend there free time more power too them. As far as I can tell no one encouraged him to leave.

Unfortuantely, there were a few overly snarky posts in this thread.
I think it comes from the forum regulars who saw some attitude displayed by the OP on several occasions and decided to let off a little steam toward the OP. Without quoting a couple, let's just say there were posts that certainly were not cordial and helpful in nature. Those posting regarding the Paypal fees (or lack thereof) were helpful.
If TASB does in fact log back on to this site, and reads this thread, I hope he understands where each person is coming from. I hope he, and everyone else, understands that the site is set up for the vast majority of users, and does not bend for one member. Changes only occur when they benefit the community as a whole. I'm still waiting for a request I made 5 years ago. :) It hasn't proven to be of benefit to the majority of users, or seen to be a productive use of Admin's time. Oh well. I'll live with that lack of that functionality. This is not a "me first" site. I think we've all seen that in many facets. (A great example of this attitude is the "pay it forward" thread.) We update sets, not just the cards we have. We upload checklists to sets we'd have zero interest in colecting - because it helps the database and other collectors. That is the spirit of this site and this hobby.

One thing i've learned in life, not only from forums and messages, but life in general. This isn't a shot at you, just an observation and something I've has to work on myself. We tend to take things too personally sometimes. Just because admin hasn't responded directly to you, doesn't mean that they singled you out and thought to themself, "boy, that person is PITA i'm going to ignore them ". It's likely that they are not only trying to balance time between this site, other sites, family, personal life, etc. We can't always respond to every message, every little thing immediately or even at all. Now I do understand that it's frustrating, and out of respect to each indivual, we'd like to get response, even if it's a quick "got your message". But it doesn't always work that way. If admin or anyone else for that matter had to respond to every message, email, etc, we could spend a whole day and not accomplish anything else. I for one, can't respond to every email or message I get during the day from work immediately, or sometimes not at all.
