If the player "PID" page lists a player with the less ideal name, then that's where we need to use the report link on the edit info page and alert Admin of the situation. That way, it can be easily reversed in this case to use Travis as the main name and Gookie as an alias. I'm willing to bet that whoever entered Gookie, probably had seen a bunch of Gookie cards, or was in one of the sets that listed him as Gookie. In any case, a note to Admin, and it can be easily rectified. I know I sent off many of those requests as I was fixing up a bunch of the minor league baseball sets. A lot of Michael and William PIDs where they wound up going by Mike or Bill.

I wonder if this Forum thread could be cleaned up to only the things that were done in the constant improvement of the site.  Much of the Admin posts here are worth reading even many months after but the thread is so clogged with discussions and suggestions that I doubt if anyone ever goes back more than a few pages.

Shall we start a new one then ......... lets call it something like The Flea Market ....... there is something for everyone. =)

I actually thought this thread was for the admin to give updates or for members to make suggestions for the site.

I agree with the "just for Admin" part.  It is much more expedient to make Suggestions directly to Admin via Message.  But if Admin intended it as their thread to just provide us updates on what they're working on, then they can lock it and prevent Replies/Posts from members.  And as sandyrusty stated, it would be much cleaner and easier to read Admin's updates.

On a player or team entry, can an option be added to see all AU, MEM and SN cards? Currently you can sort of get that in the filters but you CAN'T see all SN cards at one time, you must go by each different number any cards are SN to. For example you can't see cards SN 500 and SN 499 at the same time. The same holds true for autographs and relics. Thanks.

It's getting to the point I don't even want to go to the Crop Help area anymore. It's so frustrating to see SO MANY "Cropped" cards that still have problems. Not cropped, crooked, incomplete, wrong card, low quality, watermarked....and not being able to fix them.  If this is one member doing this, please take away their permissions.  Or rethink locking-out "Cropped" cards.

In an effort to be more transparent in the inaccuracies reporting and resolution process, a new area has been developed where members can see the status of the inaccuracies that have been reported.  After reporting an inaccuracy, a clickable ID number will be displayed on the screen.  Members can then check the status on the new Inaccuracies Manager page.

Members with the adequate permission level can also help resolve pending inaccuracies and earn points in the process.  A link to the area has been placed on the Things To Do page.  Inaccuracies submitted by members with Level 8 permissions will be displayed in the list, but will not be clickable to view additional details as it is to be assumed that these would not be resolvable without additional support.
