While we are on the Sample image issue I feel that the sample image should be a card that is typical of the set if possible. For instance if 1989 Bowman Baseball didn't have a sample image and someone chose one of those family cards that are horizontal cards numbered 258 -261 (with tthe TV border) it would be very confusing as those cards are not typical examples from the set. They look like they belong to some other set completely. I haven't noticed this often but I have come across it a time or two. Now granted if there is only one card scanned from a new set that is one thing, but if there are several cards to choose from then even if the card is from one of those whatshisname players it should be used over a non-conforming card. Now days it is getting harder and harder to even tell if two cards from the same set are from the same set, with all the variations they do within sets now days.
I collect: Baseball, Football, Hockey, Mostly Vintage pre1980, My Homie teams - Washington/Baltimore Teams Senators (Twins, Rangers), Expos/Nationals, Redskins, Capitals, Bullets/Wizards - HOFers - Non-sport (mostly TV shows and movies).
My Trade List is very much a work in progress
