Is anyone with multiple collections having issues with the Collection Gallery? I am. I have already informed Admin of the issue and they're working on it, but I want to make sure I'm not the only one having this problem, and that it's only with multiple collections.

I just set up a fake collection of a player of whom I have zero cards - none in Collection, For Sale / Trade, Wants, or In-Transit; Stan Mikita

I first simply added two cards under the Main Collection and when I go to find them in the Collection Gallery there they are. Then I set up a Hockey - Stan Mikita collection and added one of the two cards from the Main Collection - totally independent from it, meaning I probably would show me having 2 of that particular card (Main and Mikita collections), and then I added a second one different from the Main Collection, basically this:

• Main Collection - 

  • 1944-64 Bee Hive Hockey Photos (Group 2) #NNO Stan Mikita

  • 1957-58 Murray's Potato Chips St. Catharines Teepees #8 Stan Mikita

  Hockey - Stan Mikita - 

  • 1957-58 Murray's Potato Chips St. Catharines Teepees #8 Stan Mikita

  • 1960-61 Shirriff Coins #71 Stan Mikita

When I click on Collection Gallery after having selected Hockey - Stan Mikita it takes me to the Collection Gallery for Main Collection instead.

If I just go from the Collection Summary after having chosen Hockey - Stan Mikita to Add/Update and then Have it shows the accurate collection.

So there's an issue I've encountered, unless I'm doing something wrong. This is important to me because I set up my binders using the Collection Gallery, but since I started multiple collections, this is not possible as I found out this weekend as I'm trying to confirm what I have with a few players I collect.

Any help?

I'm confused - where is this Collection Gallery link/button you speak of?

Same result,  Joshua. I dont keep my Yadier Molina cards in my main collection.  As a test, I added his first card to Main since I dont own it.  I looked at the collection gallery for the collection i really have his cards in, and all i see is that one test card i dont really have.

Dan, find a player you own cards of, click Collection Summary.  Next screen, first entry under the third heading, Gallery, is what he's looking at.

Oh, so you're on a player page, not in your collection. Why on earth would you assume it would show you your player collection? That makes no sense. If it was within your Collection, I would understand this. But you're out in the MAIN area, so why wouldn't it show you all?

Because the player screen has a drop menu where you can switch between collections, and each time you do, the numbers at the top adjust to whichever collection you selected. That's why.

Basically it's switching from the alternate collection to the main collection.

Cool, thanks for pointing it out to Admin, and thanks to Admin for fixing it.

I live using the gallery since I like to keep my binders in chronological and alphabetical order. As fluid as my collection is with modern players the gallery assists by giving these old eyes the visual help and speeds up the process for me. Without it I spent most of Monday trying to put my Biggio collection in order. 

The gallery is one of my favorite tools TCDB has.
