I tried a search in Baseball entering Michael Jordan.
Got an unsorted list of 821 players with the Michael or Jordan in the name.
Maybe the real Michael Jordan is in there but I couldn't find it.
????

Search under basketball. The baseball cards of his will also be in the list of his cards.

Yeah, but then you have to sift through 13,000 cards to pick out the baseball.
I figured out that if you filter by teams you can separate them - 94 with Barons, 77 with White Sox, and 2 with Nashville. But I still think there are more in basketball showing him in baseball uni, etc.

Yes, but he should show up in both sport's searches. He has a baseball/basketball PID. I checked Dick Ricketts, he doesn't show up in a basketball search, but has a baseball/basketball PID. Same for Deion Sanders, only shows up in football searches but not baseball.

It is your Deion example that I ran into this just a couple of days ago. I agree that if I search Jordan under baseball, he should show up but right now he doesn't. Nor does Sanders in baseball. Bo Jackson is the same as I searched him this morning in baseball and came up empty. I am sure there are others.

I came across this with Wahoo McDaniel last night. He only shows up in a wrestling search, and his football cards show up in my wrestling wantlist.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |
