I submitted an IR for a gaming set that is listed in Non-Sport, and I understand this set was probably listed long before the Gaming section existed.. 

After submitting that IR, I have found a lot of gaming sets in Non Sports, probably the same,  listed before Gaming...

Was there a duscussion about leaving these there or should I do IR's for each set I find?  I don't want to flood the IR's if not necessary, but still want these sets listed correctly...

IMO not every card game belongs in Gaming.  Just like sports gaming cards stay in Sports because their primary subject is sports.  There should be a hierarchy.  There are many Top Trumps cards that should stay in Non-sport; movies, TV shows, transportation, etc.  If I'm a collector of Star Wars cards I shouldn't have to search two different categories; movies should be in Non-sport regardless if the set is also a card game.

Gaming should be for Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, etc.

I did an IR for a couple that were in non-sports on my secondary account, but then noticed they aren't on the IR anymore and still in non-sport with no reply to my comment asking if they should be moved.  I just assumed many weren't moved over when the gaming section was added.  I would do IR's though but I don't have many gaming cards, only stuff from repacks and such and had to find them on non-sports.

As for movies or shows like Star Wars, I'm a bit conflicted on.  I lean more towards moving them to gaming if they are actual gaming sets.  I know there are wrestling sets the same way, and while it would seem obvious to keep it in wrestlng, some may only collect gaming cards and their first thought would be gaming.  I think once the search function across all cards (not just by sport) becomes a thing on here, it will be easier to find things.

I see your point to a point, but where would  we draw the line?  How would gamers or collectors know where to search?  I remember Star Trek Tournaments with prizes in 5 figures.  Those gamers are going to look for classic Star Trek CCG cards in gaming.  By the same token, Magic could be listed as "fantasy" and Pokemon/Yi-Gk-Oh as "anime"...

Thats why I think we need a "all" feature in the search.  It's proposed in the new feature section

If only there was a way to get it to show up in both places.  But I'm no computer programmer, and have no idea if that's possible with the way the site is set up.
