I know this is beating a dead horse but I'm going to beat it anyway. Another set of releases from Panini and another huge bunch of checklists posted on the site that are incorrect and/or incomplete. They are being posted by members who are in too big a hurry to get a checklist posted without regard for it being done correctly. For example, 2019 Panini Immaculate Baseball lists 258 Insert sets and at least 3/4 are improperly done. The recurring problem of members copying checklists from Panini site using simply numbers when almost all Panini Inserts are a prefix related to the set name and the player initials is the most common. Also many of the sets are lacking complete notes, most are listed with just the SN note and not the AU and MEM notes. This is another example of just copying from the Panini set(which just lists SN's). So it is either a case of being too lazy to do a little research to determine what would make the checklist correct the first time or it's another case of "Point Farmers" just interested in accumulating points without concern for the correctness of the site. Also today there are several IR's posted for sets from the 2019 Panini Flawless baseball sets with the same problem(incorrect numbering and incomplete Notes). These are just examples from a couple of baseball sets not even mentioning all the other sports.
I know this happens with other companies but it much more prevalent with Panini(which has so many releases). I don't know what can be done. Maybe locking some of the more egregious offenders out of being able to submit checklists. Of course, this goes against the crowd sourced idea of the site. Maybe it is time to start subtracting points from constant repeaters. The ideal solution would be to have people take a little time to do some research and to carefully approach the formatting of the checklists. Actually the ideal solution would be for Panini to list their checklists correctly, but that isn't likely to happen anytime soon.
Sorry for the rant but I care about the accuracy of this great site and it is frustrating to spend so much time correcting LAZY mistakes made consistently by a small nunbers of CARELESS members.

I added quite a few 2019 Panini CL's a few months ago and totally understand the frustration of seeing them improperly done. It takes a fair amount of work to get the Alpha coded cards verified and sorted in alphabetic order but once the main one is done the variants go quite quickly. I really think setting some restrictions on who can do Panini CL's would save a lot of time/frustration overall. Require that a L8 double check before they can be submitted or some other sort of verification system.

The problem with people not taking the time to properly upload Panini checklists is that it creates a HUGE mess. Sadly not much is going to change

I do like the idea of a verification system for CL's! If a member submits a CL without a certain amount of CL's previously listed (kinda like how you can accept your own scan uploads after a certain amount are approved by ADMIN), then it goes to the L8's and would need 2 L8's to verify it and agree that it is correct. I don't see any reason that ADMIN couldn't implement this procedure. It would basically match IR's that L8's can verify. It takes two L8 approvals to make it happen.
This REALLY needs to be considered on this site! If the site isn't accurate, it's no better than any other card sites out there.

The numbering is bad but it gets even uglier with The dreaded "Not all subjects have all parallels" statement. People take the base checklist and copy it across without verifying and then we're missing cards or have cards listed that don't exist. Good luck trying to verify some of those 2-3 years later when breaks and sales have dried up.

I'll own up to being the one that entered the checklists. I've entered tons of checklists, mostly Topps, and thought I would help out with the Panini ones. I found 2 sites with the same checklists and a spreadsheet from Panini - how could I go wrong? I've seen the comments so I understand it wasn't that simple
If anyone can point me to the better documentation of the checklists, I'll put in the IR's and I'll fix them. If I have privilege to do it, I will get it done. I will not dump this on others to fix. If I don't have privilege to do it, I'll put in IRs for those who can fix it correctly, but I hope those will be few.
I have spent a lot of time fixing checklists (not of my entering) in the past and have gone through and fixed missing notes on lists with 100 cards, clicking on each one and adding AU, MEM, etc, whatever is needed. I'll take the hit and do the work.
I apologize for my ignorance of the Panini sets and will do whatever I can to make it right.

I will use panini's site, cardboardconnection to see the basic list. Then look on COMC,ebay to view actual images to verify if they are numbered or alpha coded. Then view as many individual cards to verify what initials are being used for each player. At times Panini will use something other than the first and last name initial for certain players. For example when Griffey jr. & sr. are in a set they will be something other than the simple first/last initial, I have seen where Dennis Eckersley and Darrell Evans are in the same set where the Evans designation was DV because DE was used for Eckersley. I also recall seeing where Panini used the same 2 initials for 2 different players/cards in the same set. Once you have done this you can work on deciphering which color parallel each player is included in or excluded from, then determine the sn/xx for each color parallel. You also have to order them alphabetically. It can take quite a bit of time to put together a correct CL of just 20 cards then duplicate it for the numerous parallels while getting the omissions, SN/xx correct for each one.

Can we get a panini prizm basketball 2019-20 checklist at least added. I uploaded a checklist that was verified from Beckett over a week ago. One of the insert sets has been allowed, i am sure it was from someone with a higher level and a card from that set, but it looks like the same checklist was used from beckett as that is the only one available from the net.
My PInk ICE refractor checklist was denied becuase the street date release was not there yet. I sort of understand that, but i have cards waiting to get entered.
I like the above option i believe spazmatic suggested as a check and balance.
