I think you might be right. I searched for three other thread titles from today and got 0 matches as well. Interesting. I guess that takes a day to update. Thanks for the tip.

A more relevant reply - I have long been a proponent of expanded forums. One of my ideas for that was to have some "Pinned Threads" that would remain at the top of every forum. I always felt that a "Bad Trader" forum would be a nifty "Pinned Thread" to have as well, with a list that can be continually updated, as well as an opportunity for members to describe experiences and results of certain transactions. However, my expanded forum ideas have not yet come to fruition, so I suppose that's not a realistic avenue at this time.

However, a "Bad Trader" list in the FAQ under the "Trading" section may also be useful. A continuous string of bad feedbacks would land a member on the list, while opportunities for redemption could get them back off. But again, that's not up to me to decide.

This is the first time I have seen this thread. BUT that member logged on minutes ago with a date of 12/10/19!!!

Unless he/she is sending messages to explain the problems, this member is adding more crap to steal even more stuff from others!

I have a question about the last log in status. I, like many of you I’m sure have it set up so I’m always “logged in” as in I don’t have to enter a password when I open the page. So if I don’t if I don’t open my browser one day and look at anything on here but I don’t actually log out would that be considered a day I logged in. If it would I could see it causing some confusion where it looks like someone’s on here everyday but they’re not they just never logged out. 

Well in this case there are daily recent matches coming through.

If you close your browser and get back on even without having to log on, the system refreshes to the current date. If you leave the browser open then when you get back on and refresh or go to a page then it picks up there, too. 

No, it doesn't matter if you are always logged in or not. It only matters if you pull up the page that day. You can even leave the page open, go to bed and it will not change dates unless you do something. 

It usually loses my log in sometime overnight and I have to hit the home page to log back in, going to any set or person and you are logged out. That's how I discovered you had to do something to show as logged in. I left it on a thread one night when I went to bed, when I got back up I clicked on my profile and it showed the day before as last log in, even though I left the page open. When I hit the home page icon it updated to the current day.

One caveat is that was on my old laptop, not sure if it's the same on all computers or if that was a peculiaritiy of that laptop. My tablet seems to be always logged in. 

If you do ANYTHING on this site, it counts as logging in whether you used a password or not. I never log out and I never log in. I click the home page link in my bookmarks to come here and I'm in without "logging in". I shut down my computer every afternoon before work and every night when I go to bed. But TCDB always keeps up with the most recent date I was on the site (which is pretty much daily anyway).

I have to say that I have had a situation with a member who I hadn't responded to in about 3 months. I was in the hospital. When I was able to get back online and check transactions I messaged him and we worked it out without problems. He had his concerns.

Then another case where a well known trader on here, with 100% positives, decided to string me along for 10 months after he recieved my cards. He was always active and in the forums. I was keeping track of what commons he sent to me and repeatedly had to check up on him because I would get ignored. I left him negative feedback and changed status to unfinished 

Point being that online trading will always be risky. I should post my facebook or phone # just to confirm i am who I am.
