Hi I looked for a team thread to put this in...guess no fans.
I took a crack at updating the Marlins roster... I know nothings final but I just wanted to see if I could do it. Figured no one would care too much since when I started it was incomplete and outdated.

I have managed the Phoenix Suns current roster for a little while. I was thinking about doing the Dbacks but I figured baseball is too hard because players come and go throughout the whole season. I guess you could always just make sure the 40 man roster is up to date?
And yeah, doesn't seem like that feature is used by that many people anyways.

Yeah, I try and maintain the Baysox and Orioles roster. The Baysox is extremely hard because you have guys getting called up and down along with rehab assignments.

I never knew there was tab for current roster. So I checked out the DBack. They all have "remove" next to a player's name. What is that? I didnt want to click on it for fear of removing something inadvertently,

If you click on the remove button, it will simply just remove them from the current roster list. It's just as easy to add someone as it is to remove them. Don't worry about messing anything up with that roster, it is incredibly outdated. Also like I said before, I don't think many members even go to the roster page anyways so if you were to mess something up, it wouldn't be a big deal and also easily fixable if someone cared enough to fix it.

Also, it would be kind of cool if the player's page showed what team they are currently on. Like I said before, I keep the Suns roster updated, but I honestly I don't even really see the point when I do it because it doesn't reflect anywhere else on the site. Maybe if in the future the current roster had more use, we could unnoficially assign members to keep specific rosters updated. Just a thought.

What sites do you use to keep up to date on current rosters?

Well the only team I update right now is the Suns. I am a big fan so i don't need any site to know who is on the team for only 15 guys (+ 2 G league 2 way contracts now). But for baseball, I think that Wikipedia usually has the most up to date rosters that I have noticed. if you go to the Wiki article of a team it will have the roster at the bottom, and the date it was updated. Even like MLB.com and ESPN seem to take a while to update who is on what team.

I use the teams' websites.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I get the correct roster from mlb team site.
This is about making our site better. I updated the Rays today.
I only care about baseball. So I wouldn’t care about basketball or anything you maybe doing there.
