I bought this 1997 Michael Jordan Z Force on Amazon and was wondering if the card was real

It's real, and it's spectacular! (Sorry, coudn't resist.)

There were a bunch of "23KT Gold" reprints of Fleer/Skybox cards in the late 1990s. Some were for sure issued in packs and I suspect some may have been sold individually through the Shopping Network or similar channels. The initial series of 12 cards (sold in packs) is listed here. I have not attempted a complete checklist of individual cards subsequently issued between 1998 and 2000.

My brother bought a Kobe Bryant from that set at a card shop about a year ago.  I also was unable to find a checklist for it when I was trying to figure out what it was he bought.
