Anyone else seen any of these around. I remember getting this card at RAF Lakenheath in 1999 while staioned there. Al Hrabowsky sat at a table in the foyer of our PX/BX signing autographs. Thought it was very poor showing as hardly anone turned up and even those that did, most didnt know who he was. As it was extremely quiet I was able to spend a little time talking baseball with a legend... made my day for sure!!
According to the card there are 16 cards in the set. I'd actually like to find the rest, I have seen Fergie Jenkins (5) card before and Gary Carter (10), but those are the only ones that I have seen or heard of.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

It's sad when so many people forget some of the lesser know greats of bygone eras. That is a really cool card, and I love that he signed it with his name AND "The Mad Hungarian"! That totally adds to the signature!

This card set was known as the 1998 "MLB Players Alumni Campbell's Soup Legends of Baseball Tour Trading Cards". There are other sets in different years. I haven't been able to find out much about them, but a few have sold on eBay and Amazon in the past.

I think part of the reason I collect is to be able to look at cards with my 17 year old son and help him gain appreciation for some very good players he has never heard of. I can show him a card of a guy like Wes Chandler or Henry Ellard or hundreds of others and tell him how good they really were. We can look at stats on the back of the card and talk about some of these guys. I was watching a Packers game on youtube a couple weeks ago and he happened by and watched a bit and said who is that Aundra Thompson, he is really fast. There are a lot of great players that are considered commons in collecting that were some very good football players.
I remember the Mad Hungarian.

Every five years or so I go through my entire collection. And, yes, it's cool when I find Hall of Famers I didn't remember I had. But I love remembering all the excellent -- and not so excellent -- players of the past, the players who most have forgotten or never heard of. Hrabosky was at least an all-star and on plenty of leader cards. There are others -- "nobodys" who all had thousands of people cheering for them at some point, because they got a pinch hit, struck that one guy, made one great play in the field. And my cards are, in part, my homage to all of them. They are remembered and appreciated. Kinda wish everyone had a life card that others could collect and reflect upon. In ways, we do. But that history is one of things that most draws me to collecting. Which is why I'm so annoyed that Topps has declined to included each player's complete history on the back of the card now. What have you done for me lately is all that seems to matter. If I got a 1983 card of Mr. Hrabosky with today's attitude, he'd look like a mediocre reliever over the four or so seasons of stats I'd see. When, in reality, he was a baseball cultural phenomenon for quite a few years, and a great pitcher.
Ok, I'm rambling.
