1991 Topps football?

Not seeing this card in 91 Topps if indeed it is part of that set. If so, maybe the one pictured doesn't belong? Seems a baseball image is in it's place? Any ideas?

I'm in agreement with you, that your explanation seems right. I have no proof, but it's a logical theory. The Canseco magazine ad sure emphasizes baseball, and the one you have must have come in 1991 Topps football packs.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I'm fairly sure that was seeded in Stadium Club packs, not the Topps football base set.

I have the exact same card and have wondered where it belonged in the TCDB. I completely forgot about it until now though.

SaintOrm I wondered the same, however does not have that same glossy feel of the stadium club card.

Topps put these cards in Stadium Club packs. The Info cards that are popping up like weeds in the baseball sets are similar, non-glossy cards. ------------------------------- -- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 3/4/2024). I classify those as promo ad cards inserted into the packs. Not part of the set but pure advertising.
