If you look at the other cards, the number on the back is the jersey number. Sweeney wore 42 for his first two (or three) seasons and then switched to 20 for the remainder.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

If you look at all the scans in the set Ntlwhlr linked (the TCDB one), there clearly two different sets going on there. A quick look at Hockeydb tells me that Sweeney had cards in 1989-90 Sports Action, 1989-90 Sports Action Post Cards, and 1990-91 Sports Action, among others. The one on TCDB with the landscape back is probably 1990-91, considering the 1990 copyright and the presence of his 1989-90 points total. Billy's is probably the real 1989-90.
Or, I could be totally wrong about all of this.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

So, once this set is figured out on this site and sorted out, it should be NNO, by our guidelines. However, this is one of those times where I side with Billy on the numbering. 20 sure looks like a card number, which is what I would search for via filters if I had this card.
I think that this is one of those sets that should be skip-numbered. I also think I'll be in the minority here, and I know the site guidelines state that it won't work like that, but boy, if I didn't know (thanks to C2C) that he had switched jersey numbers, I'd see no reason to believe that it wasn't card #20.
-------------------------------
I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

The card was probably produced between the seasons that he changed his jersey number. They had no picture of him in his #20 jersey.

That card is from the 1989-90 Boston Bruins Sports Action set. Hopefully that helps.
