This coin looks very much like it belongs in the 2005-06 Topps - NBA Collector Chips Red Foil set but there's no listing for it.

I'm missing the red foil (or any foil for that matter). It might not be red foil.

These were a separate issue from the 2005-06 Topps basketball card set. The chips were issued as a standalone product. Not sure why they are grouped in as an insert.

I agree with trauty...the "2005-06 Topps - NBA Collector Chips" somehow was added to the 2005-06 Topps set. The coins (all colors)should all be changed to "NNO" also.

I just saw the IR Proposed to delete a duplicate Quentin Richardson chip from these sets. Beckett lists them as #80 and #102. The chip they list as #102 I believe should actually be a chip of Udonis Haslem. They have the list in alphabetical order by First Name. #102 in their created numbering system is between #101 Troy Murphy and #103 Vince Carter. Does this mean we should just change the name of the duplicate to Udonis Haslem and reorder the checklist by Last Name?

Did anybody have the one in their collection whose name was changed?

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |
