Hi all,
Looked for some of these cards on here and on comc and didn't see anything. There are 25 cards, but I'm not sure if I bought them at the ballpark in 2004 or if they were a giveaway. Certainly, one of the two, but not many folks were going to Tigers' games in 2004, so not surprised they aren't here yet. They aren't numbered. Says 2004 Comerica in the bottom left back corner. I've never submitted a checklist and didn't want to screw it up!

I found a bunch of them on COMC but haven't found a full checklist yet. Did the set come with one? If you end up wanting to enter one, please let me know if you'd like help. I think it should be a Team Issue called 2004 Comerica Detroit Tigers, and I'd say the numbers should be entered as "NNO" because the ones on the front/back seem to correspond to jersey numbers.

As far as I can tell, the set didn't come with a checklist. I still have the cellophane wrapper they came in, so I'm pretty certain these are the only cards in the set. The numbers on the back do correspond to jersey # so, they should be NNO. I'm down to enter the checklist, but I don't even know where to start.

First, go to the 2004 baseball sets page. Then add a set title. Once the title is entered, it'll have an overview page. From there, you can add the checklist. The easiest way would be to select the Text option. Type all of the player's names in alphabetical order by last name (one person per line) and add NNO and a space before their name. Once the CL gets added, then you click the teams link on the left side and make all of them Detroit Tigers. If you want help, just ask me. I'll be on for a while tonight.

Well, I chose Add Set and input the details it asked for (# of cards, set name, etc.) and after I clicked submit, it said "Your request has been submitted" and "Please note you can get access to create sets by visiting the Permissions area."

Go through some of the links in the Permissions area and you will be able to get to a level high enough to enter the checklist fairly easily. Spazmatastic has spelled out how to do it easily enought. I like to do it via Excel personally, but that's just a preference. In Excel, I make columns for CardNum, Name, Team, and Note. The Note field would be for RC, MGR or CL if there was one.
How many sets do you have? If you have more than one, I'd be very interested in either buying or trading for one!

Thanks for replying to him Dan. I was folding laundry and then getting Granddad to bed. I'm back now.
I gave him instructions in the simplest way to explain how to do it. I don't have Excel, so I always use Text Plus so that I can add teams and any note that covers the entire set (like AU, SN, etc.). If this wasn't a team set, I'd have suggested that method to him too.

Well, I'm now up to level 6, but I assume that set will be awaiting approval for a little while longer, so whenever it gets approved, I'll add the checklist.
Also Dan, I only have one but I still may be interested in trading it to you. Let's get this thing entered and we'll see how I feel about it then.

P.S. Thanks for all your help guys!

Now that you are L6, you should be able to use Text Plus to add the CL. I usually type up my CL's on my PC in MS Works and then copy/paste that here with Text Plus. If you type it up, here's how using your one card above:
NNO Jeremy Bonderman - Detroit Tigers
If you type them all EXACTLY like that with different names, the CL will cover everything with nothing extra needed. Pay attention to the "spaces" though or it won't work right. Remember to put the players in ABC by last name too.
