Card Identification Forum

I don't like contradicting members in the forums, but unfortunately, Spaz is incorrect in his assessment of the cards. As we have to remind other members at times, this IS a trading card database, and whether the cards were cheaply made or licensed or not (as long as they weren't illegally made*), they certainly can be listed here. However, as Joshua pointed out, we do need to have the research done and the complete checklist added (many of these wind up being multi-sport issues because they mixed in the various sports with the same designs). But this is essential in getting these listed. Have a complete checklist? Let's go!

* - cards that are reprints without reprint notation on the cards are an example of illegal cards.

I take no offense at your reply Dan. I actually do agree that these specific cards can be added to the DB. There is a probable set title and it would be easy to complete the CL to get them listed. I think my reply to this one was also based on other cards he asked about at the same time. These Bo Jackson cards have an easy title to create, but the Griffey Jr. cards he posted at the same time would be much harder to come up with a title. Without a title, there is no set.

I meant to amend my reply from last night/early this morning earlier this afternoon, but I got distracted by all the sports I was trying to watch. And YES, even with my MLB team done for the season and my Panthers on a BYE week, there's still a lot of stuff to watch for me. I watched the 1st Half and some of Q3 of the Packers/Raiders game before switching over to the NASCAR race in KC. And I was watching C2C pack-breaks during the final Stage of the race. Lots of sports fun today!
