Can someone tell me why on 1988 topps eagles cards in the database it will have rc next to a name and no rc or rookie on the card it self

There was no such RC card logo or designator in 1988. The RC card logo/designator is a more recent invention. Edited on: Feb 24, 2020 - 6:16PM ------------------------------- *Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.*
