Blue and purple are both printed using the same basic colors, just at different "depths" of ink. I suspect, without seeing them, that it's a result of how much ink was applied. That's actually a very common occurance- and neither are considered errors or parallels. Just different examples of the same card Of course, it's quite difficult to judge something like this without pictures so this set may be different from the hundreds of other sets with differences in the blues and purples.
VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.
