I know that people are worried about whether collectibles are considered cards or not and whether they should be on here. I've got this set, and wonder if it should be included? The card that the coin is attached to is about 3.5" x 5.5".
What do people think?

Personally, I don't see why not. It is technically a card. I say it is in the same line as a memorabilia card b/c the coin is attached to the card.

I lean towards...card. But, I'm biased because I had a similar situation. I was told by Admin in my case the "card" part was packaging not a card.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

For what it's worth, I would be inclined to say packaging, not card.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Ditto,
I saw an Ebay auction that had the coin set, the album for it and the individual packages/cards. The auction also has a separate card set that is unrelated.
Maybe the coin set could be added to the database with the "cards" being included as the packaging images. To me it seems to be a typical "local" set that was distributed through grocery stores in this case Giant Eagle You probably had to send away for the album or maybe could get it when you purchased a coin. They probably released one coin a week until all 8 were released. The sort of thing where you could purchase all the coins that had been previously released. Maybe there was some kind of mail in deal for the full set also.

Looks like the coing is attached to the card by some glue? Not part of the card like some coin issues. Would that make a difference.

Yes, the coin is attached to the card by some sort of glue.
Right now, I'm going to hold off on posting this as it is probably a coin set with packaging. I just thought that I'd ask to try and clarify what actually should be on here or not.
Thanks for everyone's opinions.

Is the coin "glued" to the card or is there a plastic case attaching the coin to the card?? If there is a plastic cover holding the coin to the card, then it's a package for the coin. If not, the card is not a package and therefore I call it a card with a coin attached to it. There are lots of memorabilia cards in all sports that have the material glued to the surface of the card instead of being inside the layers of the card.
