Card Identification Forum

I have this card 14 times.  They all say Dave Hawerchuk instead of Dale Hawerchuk and they all say 1 of 500 of the back, so it is a couple of Donruss errors.

 There is something wrong, but I think it's just a couple uncorrected errors.

1 - "Dave" instead of "Dale" is wrong, but there aren't any corrected ones out there.  Otherwise you'd have an ERR/COR situation.

2 - They made a Gold Press Pass parallel that year limited to 500.  It almost seems like a regular front and Gold PP back, but all the ones I can find have that same back too.

So, just a couple UERs not documented in the guides.

I agree....could be a printing error. It has the Gold Press Proof numbering but the base front. Perhaps a collector could see value in that?

 Intersting.  I used to have this card, but never noticed this error (assuming it was widespread).
