not sure on the card.. but he got the MVP in '91 (not saying thats the card year) and the stats don't make sense to me. even combined his best year rushing/rcving he didn't score 19 TD

The stat totals are his first three seasons rushing. So the card would be a 1991. But it's an unlicensed card with no identifying information. Of course when you're producing illegal cards you don't want to put your name on it.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Hi tonym - they were being literal - his NFL stats to date - 1988 through 1990 combined is what they are showing. I would expect it is a 1991/1992 issue card, but could be wrong...

I've often seen these MVPs cards attributed to the Ballstreet Guide. Were they inserts in a trading card price guide in the early 90's?

That is a shame to some of these cards that were made it legally looked pretty damn cool, but I'm just going to have to remember from now on when there's no name of a company or manufacturer or a date on it that it won't be listed thank you again

That's not necessarily the case. Aside from recent bootleg cards, there are a lot of "unlicensed" or magazine-type issue sets listed in the database. Mainly we just want to have a complete (or mostly complete) checklist before adding it. It may be a Ballstreet set, but they usually put a copyright notice on their cards. There are also MVP cards of Richard Petty, Dan Marino and Shaquille O'Neal.

Well I just thought I would try this card like the card I put up here that said "The Four Horsemen" on it, someone knew the name of that one and it had nothing on the back as well. Is it possible it came from that same person or place?
it came from a place called Broder or Border.
