Looks like one of the promos from 1990 or 1991. Hopefully our resident Star Co guy (he used to work there) will chime in with more accuracy.

It could be from 1988. The front is similar to the 1988 Star Platinum #80 card of him listed in the database.

It is a 1988 Star Gold promo card, I believe (though not certain) it is listed as #ALTR.

Top of my head - I think that was 1988 - by 1989 we were putting the stated print run on the reverse. I will check my notes (and or cards) later when I am home.

I have found the Purple front one with the exact same photo in 1988. I don't think this one is in the database as I checked 1987 because it is a promo, and searched #ALTR in Trammell but there is no match.

Technically, all Star Co promos are NNO.

Thanks for all the replies. I do have a question, how do I turn this thread green as the card has been identified (I'm guessing that is the reason for the red/green threads)

At the top of the thread, there are 3 links (right side) - one is "Solved". Click it, should turn this green.
