I was watching women's slopestyle in the wind (was wreaking havoc for most) but my PVR kicked in to record Mystery of Oak Island eppy. =( But I am busy doing hockey draft work.
Literally just got back to olys to see our canadian girl hit for 2nd place but now can she keep it?!?!?

Dude, watch the short track speed skating. Four on the track at a time. Sometimes the winner is just the last one still standing. And there's some new "Mass Start Speed Skating" or something like that with even more out there at once. I can't wait to see that one.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

ST is one of the craziest types of speed skating EVER, it is truly inspired by roller derby!! Love it. Now we are on to the womens half pipe.

I'll have to check that out. I just can't get into Winter Olympics like I do the Summer games. I'm waiting for bobsledding, but since I don't have NBCSN I don't get to watch many of the sports. Really I just want to watch curling and bobsled. I've been "lucky" to watch two Women's Hockey games the last two games. The Swiss beat the Koreans 8-0, and Canada beat OAR (Russia) 6-0. I could check out some luge or skeleton, but I just don't care enough.

Winter games are my jam. Loved the mixed doubles curling between Canada and Norway, Canada owned figure skating ,and that women's slopestyle was nuts

A side from hockey, I tend to watch the sports with speed and danger. Luge, skeleton, downhill, ski jumping are the ones that tend to attract me. Although over the last few olympics I've come to appreciate sports that make you push yourself to the limit physically like cross country skiing. Call me wierd, but there's something in me that makes me watch when someone pushes themselves so hard they puke at the finnish line.

Let me be clear, I'm in awe of all their athletic abilities. While I could never be an athlete, I would never try to attempt something like skeleton. That's a little too much for me. I watched some luge last night and got a little nervous. I guess bobsledding seems safer to me since they actually have sides and some sort of protection.

Luge proved its danger in Vancouver in 2010 when that luger was killed in practice on the day of the Opening Ceremonies

That slopestyle was crazy. I watched about half of each run and I only saw 3 make it without falling.
