Chloe and Cai(?) from China made the rest look normal. I felt bad for the two that bit it really hard, the poor little Aussie looked like she had a bit of blood in her chicklets!! Am watching Men's combined now, man that wind is making the ski/board events a little squirrly!! Man the Russian bit it pretty good.

Yeah I thought the Aussie girl may have lost a tooth. Now the guys are coming up in qualifying . I think Shaun White is gonna bring it, but the Aussie dude is real good.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

It being 2 am and nothing on but curling on SN NBC or AMERICAN GREED on MSNBC I choose flip. Mixed team Finland vs Russians. 3rd end and low and behold a young curler slipped and went boom on the ice. I was wonder with all the sliding going on has one ever fell.
Now here my question What happens if you fall and disturb the sliding stone or the ones already in the house.

Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards

The official rule is that the rock has to be removed fromplay but being a gentleman's game, usually they will place the rock back to as close as they can remember it being. It really only becomes a major issue when two rocks are almost equal distance from the center of the rings and position depends on which was closest. I remember a long timeago when a curler began jumping for joy thinking they had one and he accidently hit a stone that may or may not have counted. Replays could not even determine for sure if the rock had moved but I believe they lost the game when a measurement was made (I think he nudged the opponent's rock closer a mm or two).

YAY! I finally get to watch some curling. Its on USA Network, and its GBR and OAR Women. I still don't know the rules, but its fun. I've watched a bit of Shaun White last night and whatever primetime NBC programming but haven't looked at the results of much else.
