So ............... just watched an ad "poking fun" at a US identity theif. He says "It's easy to be a Canadian you just need to love .....
1. Tree Sauce,
2. Skatey-Punchy and
3. Antler-Cow.
So for my dear friends down south, do you know what these would be without googling the ad? =D Its a boring Saturday afternoon. LOL

I don't know, but I'd like to guess. I am stumped on tree sauce. I think skatey-punchy is a friendly game of hockey and antler cow is deer or carribeaux? Tree sauce maybe lettuce or salad? Purely guesses. I am in Buffalo and I have never heard them and I can throw a stone into Canada.

Maple syrup, hockey, and moose!
My college roommate, teammate, and one of my best friends is Canadian, so he catches a lot of grief about all three of those from us.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Ah, tree sauce makes sense. I nailed the skatey-punchy and I am giving myself partial credit on the moose.

Lol, just trying to think of Northern stuff. I also didn't want to be sub-.500, so I needed the partial credit to stay 1-1!

I don't know how I missed this thread before but I would have easily gotten the maple syrup one. Skatey-punchy is kind of easy to guess at too. I'd have been a bit lost on #3 though.
Around here, you don't see the antlers of anything unless you are actually out hunting for them at 5am. Otherwise, you hit one driving home a few hours earlier than that. In case anyone's missing that, I'm talking about deer, not moose. There's a good reason for having a hunting season for deer (and moose). Even living way out in the country like I do, it's rare to see antlers. Most of the deer that cause wrecks here are babies (fawns) and doe's. No antlers/horns to be seen there!

Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards
