Please either allow messages, or don't send messages that would warrant a response. :)
I tried to e-mail this, but, well, it wouldn't go through.
Anyway, on the issue about the photographed card back that you had reported, I re-submitted all of them (and may have even found more), and started the process. My apologies. They were submitted by someone who has submitted a lot of actual scans, so I thought they were just scans (albeit, not the best in the world). Thanks.

Did you try Proposing a Transaction and putting the message in there.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Didn't think of that. Too late now. :)

Thanks, no apology needed. Found them while trying to fix some of my own bad scans.
I will not be turning on messages. I used to get way too many messages from folks wanting to buy or trade my cards. I'll just not post any replys to messages warranting a response. I'll be clearer if I decide to submit any more inaccuracy reports.
Cheers

You have your Collection, For Sale/Trade List, and Wantlist all hidden. Why would you be getting trade/buy request messages? Maybe a messaging glitch?

What the F is the point of being here if you refuse to contribute info?!!! Making yourself "invisible" is just pointless. If you can't contribute (or don't want to b/c you're scared of contact), just stop doing anything here.
Seriously, what is the problem here? You joined the site to catalogue your cards. I would assume you wanted to help the site too. Obviously that assumption was wrong. You even BLANKED your avatar! That's just shady and what the hell happened to make you so dis-enchanted with the site that you decided that you need to be a ghost?!!!
I honestly want to know.

I would say that hphillips has contributed quite a bit to the site, and posts well above average scans too. I admit that I don't understand making the collection private, but the option is available and I'm sure they have a reason that I just don't know.
I've told people dozens of times that my collection is not for sale or trade, but they keep asking. I even had two people cut me off their friend list on Facebook because I would not sell them part of my collection, so I can certainly understand the frustration/annoyance hphillips alluded to.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. I don't see a problem with someone wanting to just privately track their collection, but I think they should have messaging available if they are going to contribute to the site in case someone has questions about something they added. Maybe disable the ability to self approve scans if they disable the ability to PM?

I TOTALLY agree with piston fan.......My collection is now private, because Im adding so much, trading AT THIS TIME would be too combursome.
My messages are ALWAYS ON and I try to respond with 24hrs if not sooner.
I will also add. Im really looking forward to trading again, at the right time, as I think I can help many of you with your baseball stuff.

hphillips has over 142,000 points in a little over two years on the site. He contributes an amazing amount. For now, there is no requirement to contribute. He wants to stay private, he has every right to do so.
I hope we don’t lose a valuable member because others feel that they have some right to greater access to him. Which they don’t.
