Had a good time at AAA Memphis Redbirds vs Fresno Grizzlies last night
Always good to see a championship at any level.
Very surprising that they won considering how many players were promoted to STL and did not play, including the entire starting rotation
Oh and tickets were 1.00 speicial tonight

Nice pic of the ball club. I am just down the road from the AAA Norfolk Tides (Baltimore Orioles) and have really come to appreciate minor league baseball especially the cheap tickets. Who was called up to St. Louis that will be making an impact this month down the stretch?

most of the impact guys were called up before september
Harrison Bader- cf has been so good, they traded away Tommy Pham to Rays to clear room for Bader to play every day
4th of Tyler O'Neill (shout out to Canada!) has shown big power but lots of strikeouts
Jack Flaherty SP looks like potential Ace of the future
Dakota Hudson and Austin Gomber were starters in minors called up for bullpen/spot starts and have make a big difference

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

Good ole Harbor Park. I spent many a summer night watching the Tides play there and Met park before it.
