A slight issue, both drafts are scheduled for the same day at the same time.

Drafts are NOT set - obviously they won't be able to be at the same time as I'm in all of them. I'll try to figure something out.

Problem is this - there are 2 STUPID* "regular season" games on 3/20 and 3/21. The the rest of the season really begins on 3/28.

So, we can try to get everyone to draft before the 3/20 game, or we can ignore those 2 games (Mariners and A's, I do believe) and draft normal, a couple days before the season. We could run into situations where we draft on 3/15 (or thereabouts) and some people who get drafted could still get dropped from the final roster. I don't like the idea of doing drafts before final rosters are made. But, we'll see what makes the most sense.

* - Stupid - why any teams would agree to having 2 regular season games a week before preseason ends, then going back to preseason games, and then re-starting the regular season is absurd. Start the season, and start it for everyone. And even if you want to have a staggered start, one day difference only.

I got last year's runner up in the H2H league signed up. Watch out! The Pete Incaviglias are gunning to win it all this year!

As I discussed with Dan, the A's are my faves, not playing those games may deter me from drafting them. It is crazy scheduling. But I think we Draft before 3/20.

All about the $$$. They'd done this a few times to include a trip to Australia. I think this time they just wanted an excuse to get Ichiro into a MLB uniform one last time and have him play a regular game in Japan. Yeah, they'll be rolling in the dough after those 2 games, especially if Ichiro does officially announce his retirement while there.

For the original purpose of the post, I'm good with bypassing these 2 games and drafting on a normal schedule.

Also waiting to hear back on a couple of people who I need a little clarification.

Remember, these leagues are what I like to call "no strings" leagues. You can come and go as you please, and we won't hold it against you. Just please be courteous and let me know your preference.
