From an Astros fan's perspective it's been exhilirating and frustrating already. Very streaky and those 3-game losing streaks need to end for Houston. Last night's 1-0 loss to the Twins reminded me of when Nolan Ryan would pitch in Houston games, the 'Stros would go silent on offense while he was on top of his game.

When my Sox decide to remind themselves the are the WS champs maybe I'll liven up some. Tough to watch so much talent struggle. I'm sure there are more than plenty on here happy to see it though.

1 month in and hoping the Phils start firing on ALL cylinders soon to put a big gap between them and the rest of the NL East. Two game lead is nice, but honestly, with the lineup they have, it should be at least 5 by now.

Jays are .500; much better than expected. And yes, I hope to watch the Red Sox sink even further.

Haven't really paid that much attention to the Buccos as of yet. Although that young feller Cole Tucker has some really nice hair.
On the brighter side last evening saw the opening of the Gunny Household Outdoor Grilling Season. She bought them, I marinated and grilled. We then enjoyed grilled ribs whilst sittin on the deck and I enjoyed a nice locally produced Blackberry Bling wine, delicious.

The Padres pitching is better than expected and I am excited to see how this year turns out.

Cubs started 1-6 and were one of the last teams in the league to have a home game. Since then, they've gone 13-6 and won something like six straight series. Bryant and Rizzo and Schwarber and Hendricks could all stand to improve. They will. The starting pitching has mostly come around, as has the bullpen without a closer.
My secondary team, the Nats, are struggling mightily.
But, on the whole, it's going ok. Thanks for asking.

Diamondbacks fan here. I was optimistic heading into the season even though everyone I know said I was just being a blind fan. We lost Goldschmidt, Corbin, and Pollock in the offseason. Also a huge blow was losing Jeff Mathis as well. He isn't much to write home about statistically, but Mathis is one of the very best behind the plate.
Even losing all those guys, this team still has a lot of talent and has been still managing to win games. Adam Jones has been a nice pickup and everyone seems to be stepping up when needed. Christian Walker has also done a very nice job filling in at first base. We still have Greinke at the top of the rotation and some pop in the lineup with David Peralta.
Baseball is still a team game in the end, even if some of your stars are no longer on the team. I credit a lot of this to Mike Hazen wanting to still put a competetive team on the field instead of tearing it down, and for Torey Lovullo being the type of manager that makes everyone on the team feel like they are contenders and can make an impact.
Long story short, my team has been doing well and exceeding expectations and hopefully they don't implode during the Summer.

I don't know what has been worse - watching my Red Sox play like a AAA team or watching the Yankees succeed with a AAA team...
