Compare the game today to the "old days". I remember Cardinals players outside the stadium hitching rides to the train station. Back then it was an honor to play the game. Today, I percieve the game that has a bunch of arrogant money greedy people. For instance, Bryce Harper turning down $300 million from the Nats????? Ask Stan Musial what he would have said if he was offered $300 million tp "play" a kids game. Money is ruining the sport if it hasn't already. Video games in the clubhouse does not surprise me --- they still get their check win or lose, that's what most players care about. And I think it's a shame this topic is news. I have respect for people like Mike Trout who does not think he is bigger than the game. Since I am on a rant, lets take Machado.....bad boy with his antics with the Orioles and Dodgers but he miracously turns for the better after that huge contract with the Padres. Kimbrel...won't accept a 1-year contract.
