I've become a binge watcher and just completed Breaking Bad this week. First of all, WOW! One of the most intense series I have ever watched.
Now, though, I have no idea what to do. Would you recommend something that may be available on Netflix? Purchases are based on wife's tastes which would exclude any violent or action dramas. She took as much as she could of The Walking Dead and dropped out in Season 3 or 4.
We are watching Poldark and will be starting Season 4 in a couple of days.
Here's a taste of other things we've watched to give you an idea of our varied tastes:
- Twilight Zone (this is the original series and only me watching)
- Dean Martin's Celebrity Roasts
- The Office
- Monk
Any suggestions? In the meantime I'll probably start watching Taxi, Barney Miller, or something from that era.

Not sure if the American version of Netflix has it (Canada doesn't) but search for Hogan's Heroes. 6 seasons of comedy. A more modern comedy is Modern Family, also a good laugh.

Here's what's usually on at the Gunny household:
- Naked and Afraid (regular and XL, Mrs Gunny's fave)
- Super Brain (Chinese show sometimes called The Brain, which pits two teams of super smart people against each other in challenging intelligence tests)
- Love it or List it (Another Mrs Gunny fave)
- Doctor Who (My fave of all time both classic and new series)
- Fixer Upper (We both really like this one)
- Guy's Grocery Games (One of my faves, I binge this one sometimes)

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

"Corner Gas" is available on Amazon Prime Video. I've binged watched the complete series numerous times.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I just finished the Santa Clarita Diet series on Netflix. A humorous undead show.

Some comedy shows. Miss Brown's Boys, BBC tv show from a few years ago and it's Very funny. Corner Gas from CTV you can find it on you-tube and the new version is animated. I don't watch much tv, But when I do it's BBC or from other countries. I got burned out on the stupidly of American tv shows a long time ago and with all the free tv show websites out there, makes it easy to watch tv shows from any country.

What is that behind you!?! Oh, It's me! Looking at the cards you have, That I want. :)

Corner Gas is on Youtube? Man, I'll have to look for that. Only saw a few episodes a few years ago on WGN and wanted to watch more.
I don't watch too many shows anymore that are new, but excited to catch the final season of Orange is the New Black. There are a few violent scenes, but its pretty good. Last couple seasons have dragged as they've tried to push more political, but still might as well finish it. Also hoping to catch the 3rd season of Ozark whenever its released. Again, not too violent, but a few occasional scenes are a bit graphic. GLOW is a pretty good show even if you aren't into wrestling. It's based on the 80's women's wrestling group and plays the 80's stuff pretty hard, which I like. Marc Maron does a good job in it. All those are on Netflix. I'm waiting until the end of July to get it for a month to catch Orange and Glow so not sure what else is on there.
On Amazon Prime I haven't seen the newest season of Sneaky Pete, but liked the first two seasons. Bryan Cranston was in the first season and is a director or producer. Giovanni Ribisi and Margo Martindale are pretty good in it.
As for other shows, I'm not sure where they are available, but whenever I want to find something to watch, I watch Burn Notice, Leverage, Scorpion, and Limitless. Last two were on CBS so maybe are on All Access.
As of late I've just found stuff for free on Roku through various apps. There are quite a few on there if you have one.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've never heard the vast majority of those current ones, but I'll give them a look-see.
I'm okay with violence, my wife isn't, so we usually go with something less so when watching together. She didn't watch Breaking Bad with me, but seemed interested as I got to the final four episodes; she even commented "those women's eyes are always red." She was only casually watching, but mostly hearing what was going on as she also said she was leaving when a torture scene seemed about to happen. It didn't, and I think what I really liked about that aspect of Breaking Bad was the lack of gratuitous violence and sex. There was some, but never just to show it. I don't know if anything will live up to it, but here's hoping.
One other thing I've considered is watching old movies. A couple of months ago I watched "The Great Escape" and "The Dirty Dozen" back-to-back. I might do that with Hitchcock or M.Night movies.
