By the end of the war, with supply lines cut off, the Japanese had to resort to dropping Ozzie Smith on the Allied fleet.

I have begun the process of selling most of my collection on eBay (https://www.ebay.com/usr/k-lots). The rest will be practically given away. If you'd like to "rescue" a card from this fate, give me an offer. I'm currently only entertaining trades that help me downsize my collection or provide equitable cost/value for a card I will keep (see "Collects" in my profile). -Bob

That’s not what I meant when I said, “Turn that frown upside down.”

Such great replies so far! I've got nothing to say on this one. Ozzie's backflip into position to start every game is how I became a fan of him, the team and baseball itself. I probably wouldn't even have a card collection if it wasn't for Ozzie impressing me with those flips when I was a child!

hmmm...something must be wrong, I don't think the sky should be green.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

In a photo finish the winner of this week's contest goes to orcish1982 with "This is what happens when Ozzie Smith watches Stranger Things". Week 23 on the way shortly. (subtle, but as a huge fan I understood where ot came from. )!

Coincidentally, the Cardinals just announced a Stranger Things night at Busch Stadium. The giveaway? A shirt with the graphic of -- yep -- Ozzie Smith mid-backflip.
