Then I might be wrong but.....
ANGELS - have gone thru 4 names
GIANTS - 3 names
A's or ATHLETICS - always a question whether these are the same or different, could be 3 names
Now Cubs and White Sox
I thought CWS were always CWS.
But Cubs were White Stockings> Colts > Orphans > Cubs
This was fun!

I thought of the “Jays” thing and remember those off gray/slate unis but wasn’t sure if that was just a uniform thing or if they tried to actually refer to them as the Toronto Jays lol
And do the Diamond Backs count or were they officially called the Dbacks at some point? This is tough!

They have officially been the Diamondbacks since 1998. D'backs is just a shortened version the fan base likes to use. So it counts.

Off the top of my head I would say Florida Marlins, Arizona Dbacks, Minnesota Twins.

Nope....DBacks and Marlins newer franchises, Twins, only 2. Think much older.

I'll guess Braves, Red Sox or Cardinals. All 3 went thru many name changes in the 1800's before getting close to the current names. And the Braves have moved a few times in the 1900's.

spaz is the man.............BRAVES
Depending how you look at it, this is what I got:
Red Stockings > Beaneaters > Doves > Hustlers > Boston Braves > another brief Boston team > Boston Braves > Milwaukee Braves > ATLANTA.
